Accommodations

Tell us your top-two preferred options in your RSVP

We have the entire site booked which includes the following: 12x hotel rooms (sleep max 4), 4x small cabins (sleep 2-4), 7x bunk houses (varying sizes sleeping 3-10), 3x Power RV sites, 3x no-power RV sites, 10x tenting camp sites. The amenities in each unit varies wildly from electricity on demand and 3 piece washrooms, to no power, heat, or toilets. That said, every guest has access to the plentiful communal washrooms, showers and cooking areas on the grounds. Think of it like summer camp! Also bring your own bedding unless you’re in the hotel!

Fill out the RSVP form with your top picks and we’ll get back to you to confirm a space, and collect your monies.

The Bride

Leah “Eyebrow-Talker” Andries

Leah was born in Edmonton AB, to Robyn Thomas and Kirk Andries. She’s a born athlete and academic who teaches high school at Robert Thirsk by day, and smacks volleyballs and asses by night. When she’s not teaching kids to love nature she is usually doing some nerdy nature stuff herself.

The Groom

Alex “Pappa-VDB” van der Breggen

Alex was born in Richmond BC to Sydney Sveinson and Frank van der Breggen. He’s nearly as artsy as he is fartsy, spending his days directing the arts at a Calgary advertising agency. By night he’s a backyard brewmaster, and krockinole assasin. Dubbed “poppa vdb” long before fathering Willa June VDB – his dadcore looks have been well documented and often celebrated by frenemies for years.

Gifts

If you INSIST on gifting us something, we ask that you help us pay for this fun shindig by giving cash. Turns out weddings are expensive!

We hope you’ll join us on this special weekend.
